Garlyn Shelton's passion for the Automotive Industry began in 1974 and has only grown since, having Owned/Operated franchises including BMW, Mercedes Benz, Infiniti, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Nissan, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Volvo, Mazda and Subaru.

Ed has been with Garlyn Shelton from the beginning, for 40 plus years. Mr. Shelton and Ed have worked hand in hand towards a vision of success. Together with Mr. Shelton, Ed is responsible for the leadership of the GS Autogroup and they have taken the Garlyn Shelton name from a small Datsun dealership where Ed started his employment, to the formidable Autogroup it has become with 5 locations, 8 franchises, a wealth of knowledge and success. Ed is the guiding force behind every decision of forward movement for this dealership. Dealerships (both large and small) often make on-site visits to review our process and management.

General Manager - Variable Operations
The face of executive leadership at Garlyn Shelton Autogroup, Brian has worked for Garlyn Shelton for 20 years. Beginning in Bryan/College Station and now Temple, his everyday leadership, progressive thinking and process driven practices continue to guide the Autogroup towards success. A graduate of the NADA Academy, Brian is recognized by our dealership and manufacturer's as a leader in this industry.
Michael Lindberg
General Manager - Fixed Operations
Michael has been with Garlyn Shelton for more than 30 years serving in multiple capacaties along the way. Having graduated from the NADA Dealer Academy in 2005 Michael was appointed as General Manager to our Mercedes Benz Dealership until 2014 when the store was sold. It was then that Michael returned to Temple to continue his leadership as General Manager focused on Fixed Operations, an operation that has seen major growth the following years.
